I am proud to announce the release of my new divorce novel, DIVORCED GIRL SMILING, now available in paperback and Kindle on amazon.com!
Much like this blog, DIVORCED GIRL SMILING is funny, entertaining, heartfelt and inspirational. It’s a root for the divorced girl while getting lots of laughs kind of book (and don’t be surprised if you shed a couple happy tears.)
It makes a great divorce gift or holiday gift, or it’s a good curl up in bed or lie on the beach read.
DIVORCED GIRL SMILING is the story of a wealthy realtor whose husband leaves her for another woman. Desperate to heal herself from the misery of divorce, she puts her $36,000 engagement ring on Craigslist for 99 cents. Wait till you see the potential buyers vying for the ring!
But more than a comedy, DIVORCED GIRL SMILING is a story of a woman’s divorce journey. It’s about acceptance, reflection, taking accountability for mistakes, and appreciating all of life’s wonderful gifts. In other words, if you have the guts to put the past behind, admit your mistakes, embrace the future and give love another chance, you will surely be a divorced girl smiling. (or divorced guy smiling!)
By the way, you don’t have to be divorced to love this book! It’s a romantic comedy that will put a smile on your face whether you’re divorced, separated, single or happily married!
I want to say one last thing. I wrote DIVORCED GIRL SMILING, the novel, not only for entertainment and to offer a fun, romantic, heartfelt book to readers, but to inspire divorced people.
Divorce involves a long healing process that can include doing some pretty crazy things. At times it can seem unbearably painful. It’s heartbreaking and gut-wrenchingly sad, but by having the guts to reflect and admit your faults, and by learning acceptance, believing in yourself and your abilities, and have self love, I believe all divorced people can end up happy and have the life they want. It just takes time and the power to make good decisions moving forward.
